The month of Thanksgiving. I have many things to be thankful for. Just returned from visiting with two brothers for five days. Enjoyed the visit. Even though I'm not a writer in great demand, I am thankful when I do write. The new ms is in it's early stages but I think at some point it is going to take off. I don't have the time or dedication to participate in the writing a novel in a month thing. I don't know if anyone else will read/respond here but I hope you're having a good month, Paul. The rest can drop in anytime.

Hi Charlie,
Since you mentioned me specifically, I'm glad to be here too and glad you're back. I think everyone else has deserted us, sad to say.
I too am thankful for so many of Heavently Father's blessings, most especially for my family. They and whatever learning and wisdom I achieve are all I'll ever be able to to take with me when I pass on.
This month being Thanksgiving month, my wife and I will be travelling to California to have Thanksgiving with my daughter and her family. I can't wait. But it's not giving me much time for writing. I also have to make sure I get all my critiques done for my critique group before I leave. Wish me luck.
I've never been interested in that novel in a month thing either. I just write what and how I like. I don't want to be held to any kind of pressure. Good luck with your writing.
Paul

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. May the spirit of our Lord be with all of you. I have to work both Thursday and Friday so I'll eat my dinner late this year and no black Friday shopping (yeah!). On the bright side I get time and a half for both days.
Everybody be safe if you're travelling to see family or friends.

We did have a wonderful Thanksgiving, thank you. My wife and I drove to Rocklin California to spend a week with our daughter and her family. It was fun playing with my 4 grandchildren too. Got to tour Sutters Fort, the Sacramento Train Museum, Muir woods and overlook, and most specially, the Oakland Temple. Also got to visit my mom and two of my sisters. We did a lot, but not enough in my mind. Now, I'm way behind in my work.
I hope all the rest of you (all 1 or 2 of you) had a wonderful Thanksgiving too.
