Can I just say how much I love the idea of a light-hearted take on gravity?

Paul, I don't know anything about query letters; but I'd change the last two sentences in the first paragraph more like this: Recovering from his injuries he discovers evidence implicating the school bully, and he vows to get even. His next move could be the biggest mistake of his lifeI just felt like you mentioned him wanting to get even before we know who it is he wants to get even with and it seemed a bit confusing to me. Sachiko, Wow, congratulations! Have as many kids as you think you can handle, plus one, and you'll be happy. T. Lynn, Wow, that's great! Congratulations! I can hardly wait to get the book. I'll have to take it with me to the Wright family reunion this weekend. Came out just in time.

Well, it hasn't been easy, Sachiko. Taking gravity light-heartedly can be painful. But what are we doing here in June? It's July.

Paul, I don't know anything about query letters; but I'd change the last two sentences in the first paragraph more like this: Thanks Mike. I like your suggestion. I think it works better than mine. All: I hate to admit it, but I'm stuck on GERTA!. Not stuck like a big crush on her, but stuck writing her story. So, I've begun writing a historical novel I'm currently titling it "Johnny Sweeting's Story." It's set in about 1910 and begins in a Wyoming coal mining town and will eventually move to a wheat shipping port in California. Maybe I mentioned it before??? I can't remember. Well, everyone. I hope y'all had a nice 4th. I'll try to remember what I did to start this June forum and try to begin a July one.
